About You (The Ideal Candidate)

  • You: You are a Master of communication both verbal and through text (email and live chat). You understand the power of the professionally written word, of tone (including when speaking), and how the choice to use a single word over another can decide whether you make or lose a sale…You are confident in your presentation ability, your English is perfect or near-perfect, and people naturally like you, which makes it an easier decision to buy from you. You can learn and follow a sales process exactly (and eventually take ownership to make it better), and you’re confident in your ability to deal with any “not happy”customer situations to do your best to address their concerns, and/or while communicating the limits of the product if expectations are misaligned.
  • You and The Work: Daily, after learning the product, you’ll check for upcoming one-on-one sales appointments. You’ll meet with customer leads via live video chat to give them a demo, set expectations, and answer their questions, and take their order. Outside of that you’ll reply to sales inquiries coming in through email, as well as follow up on past leads (to nurture those) who have not yet purchased. You may or may not be given the opportunity to conduct a Live Webinar, depending on your ability and experience. Also, after learning the workflow, you monitor our inbox for customer communications; respond or direct to the correct team member; respond to all customer messages within 30 minutes during regular business hours including cancellation requests and offering a consultation call. Finally, you’ll collaborate with Project Managers, check how they’re communicating with your leads who bought and also assist with any cancellation/retention replies.
  • Your Experience / Knowledge: +3 years experience in sales, perfect or near-perfect English speaking/writing. Tip: show us you can sell without “trying hard” and have sold for others.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 3 years sales experience. Customer service or project management experience is a plus.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal English skills for communicating with leads and customers.
  • Must be reliable, diligent and enjoy having a position where staying organized and communicating clearly is key.
  • Must have a stable and fast internet connection.
  • Must be friendly, diligent, and enjoy working within a proven process, and recurring daily workflow.
  • Comfortable working virtually and being self-directed.
  • Must be available to work during normal business hours i.e. between 9am and 5pm EST (New York Time), Monday - Friday
  • Must be available for team calls via Zoom.
  • Must attend daily sync-ups at 9 am EST (Mon-Fri) via our web app’s live chat.

Responsibilities

  • Create and enforce workflow that includes sufficient and consistent follow-up that drives “lead activation” and buying decisions.
  • Maintaining and updating the workflow documentation (tips, training, day-to-day work system and expectations, guidelines, best practices)
  • Calling out new clients to the team
  • Answer general and common questions (e.g. how to navigate the app, or how do we host their webpages, or what tools do we most commonly work with etc. )
  • Reading and following our training (details and consistency matter) as well as working to improve it over time.
  • Provide client updates via the Growbo app and/or email.
  • Respond to all clients messages within 30 minutes during regular business hours.
  • Lead in monitoring the Tawk.to channel during business hours.
  • Introduce new features to clients, be a source for answering questions.
  • Attend daily team meetings and participate with constructive ideas.
