  • You: Your mind is “special” —a Strategic Thinker— because you are able to think both Visually (e.g. picture the funnel diagram in your mind), Analyze a page or site or copy or funnel for conversion bottlenecks, and Empathize (thru your emotion and imagination you can put yourself into the minds and bodies of potential customers and understand WHY they are buying, opting-in, clicking—or the reasons why they aren’t at all). You are *obsessed* with growing sales, figuring out how to do it, recognizing gaps or “what’s not working” and recommending actions to grow sales. Your communication style is Super Clear and you can impart your knowledge to both junior staff and management.
  • You and The Work: As a Funnel / Ads Strategist, you enjoy thinking both critically and creatively to analyze and understand the trends and data of our current sales funnel and providing feedback (“what does not work” and “what’s working”), and making recommendations that the team can implement. You enjoy the idea of going thru analytics and seeing where you might be able to give insight on what’s working, what are the gaps, or where they could improve. You are also creative to introduce new ideas based on the review of the current site, pages, ads or sales funnel that we have.
  • Your Experience / Knowledge: You have 5+ years of experience as a Digital Marketing Expert / Strategist or Ads Strategist. You have hands-on experience on paid advertising and content marketing and have scaled ad spend to at least $100k/month. You are very “tech-comfortable” having worked with a variety of tools, ad platforms, and more. You are proficient with Facebooks Ads and/or Google Ads and you have the numbers to back it up. You are proficient in English, both in written and oral communication, and you have the ability to analyze, comprehend, and translate numbers and reporting into actionable plans.

Requirements

  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude with good organizational skills
  • Experience with copywriting and/or paid ad traffic strategy (Adwords, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc). A plus if you have good "spatial reasoning" skills, and also a big plus if you like interpreting data, thinking strategically, and creative problem-solving
  • Like working with other people, good writing, and communication skills
  • Must be technically savvy enough to be comfortable learning and using new software
  • Must be available for weekly team calls (if needed) and contribute with ideas for how to improve your workflow, and the company in general
  • Must be in a "stable location" with a solid internet connection for when we have calls to onboard new clients 
  • Not a requirement but a plus: proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics, and other marketing software like LeadPages and ActiveCampaign.com
  • Client-focused but also able to follow specific directions every week via our checklists, templates, and other instructional media used to operate the business
  • Comfortable working virtually and being self-directed
  • Must be available to work during normal business hours i.e. between 9am and 5pm EST (New York Time), Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

  • Performance check-ups - review the status of the assigned client accounts, diagnose non-conversion of account(s) and provide solutions, and check the progress of accounts towards their launch dates
  • Live Chat (& some emails) with clients to answer strategy questions and assist Project Manager in communicating progress
  • Complete Pre-launch walk-thrus with the aim to detect and delegate FIXES to funnel mistakes before they happen (e.g. a conversion bottleneck appearing after launch).
  • Onboarding Calls & Strategy Calls with clients. This also includes preparation of walkthrough diagram (journey of client / customer)
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager when needs arise (e.g. updating a client's funnel diagram, clarifying something)
  • Attend team sync-ups (via the AutoGrow App) daily at 9am EST and communicate with team members to accomplish marketing plan goals
  • Learn from and and maintain your checklists and documentation that will help you maximize results while saving time and avoiding mistakes
